The Global Water Alliance (GWA) is a network of interested organizations and individuals committed to helping to meet the UN Millennium Development Goals for water/sanitation throughout the world. By utilizing the resources and expertise of the Philadelphia Region and beyond, we work to increase global access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services. 

Learn from world-changing thinkers and innovators from the United Nations, World Bank, USEPA, international water and sanitation leaders, and major NGOs. 

Conference Objectives

  • To provide a platform to learn about best practices at WASH projects in developing countries
  • To provide special focus to three specific areas: monitoring and evaluation, gender, and schools
  • To select several best practices and recommend how to bring them to scale
